  • Overseeing the replacement of the existing asbestos-based potable water system with a safer, more durable Blue Brute piping system.
  • Managing the construction of a stabilised pavement with an asphalt wearing course designed for a 25-year lifespan.
  • Coordinating the construction of new roundabouts at key intersections to improve traffic flow and safety.
  • Supervising the installation of new road furniture and ensuring the proper line marking for enhanced safety and usability.
  • Overseeing the construction of a new concrete footpath, as well as the installation of an irrigation system and landscaping to enhance the street’s aesthetic appeal.

Specific Responsibilities Under the Contract
The project management team was responsible for:

  • Overseeing the construction of a new stormwater system and ensuring the smooth replacement of the existing potable water system with Blue Brute pipes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and longevity.
  • Supervising the stabilization of the road pavement and the application of the asphalt wearing course, as well as managing the construction of new roundabouts at critical intersections to facilitate improved traffic management.
  • Coordinating the installation of new concrete footpaths, road furniture, and line marking, along with the implementation of a landscaping plan with an irrigation system to improve the aesthetic and functional aspects of the street.

Procurement & Delivery
Curry Project Management (CPM) managed the procurement of the Principal Contract through a transparent and comprehensive tender process. CPM ensured value for money while adhering to local procurement policies and guidelines. The project management team oversaw the delivery of materials, coordination with contractors, and ensured all resources were delivered on time and within budget for smooth project execution.

Submission Compliance
